Hi, I’m Andi. Thanks for being here.
I am a traveling wedding and portrait photographer, based in beautiful Gold Beach, Oregon. I specialize in documenting fun, timeless, natural weddings for humans who want to celebrate their love in beautiful places. I've been in the wedding industry for the past 20 years and based in Oregon for the past 8 years. I just recently started putting down roots in Gold Beach, Or.
I live with the love of my life and our hilarious tiny french bulldog. Most of our loved ones still reside in Southern Utah where we travel to as often as possible. (BTW- I am always down for a Utah wedding!!!) I feel like I have always been surrounded by the most glorious desert backdrops you could ever imagine growing up in Southern Utah, but for some reason it didn't satisfy my soul. I wasn't a desert dweller, a land lizard a sun goddess as most of my friends and family clearly were. Me? I was born in The Bay Area, California. My mother moved us Utah when I was 5- I spent every summer of my childhood in California with my family there, well into my adult life when I trudged my own children out every summer of their lives- for as far back as I can remember, I've longed for the ocean, the forests, the fog, the wind, the waves and the rain. So here I landed, on this amazingly beautiful slice of the planet- the Oregon coast, with the man that I love, and I'm ready to see where it takes me.

My love of photography started at an early age, my parents were always taking pictures of my siblings and I in weird and wonderful places. I got my first cameras, a Polaroid and the Canon AE1 (which I still have to this day) handed down to me from my father in the late 80's when I was in high school. At that time, I was obsessed with fashion photography. The walls of my bedroom were covered with ads from fashion magazines like Vogue or Elle. Some of my favorite ads were from Georges Marciano's Guess campaign and Obsession by Calvin Klein ads. I loved Ellen Von Unwerth's style of editorial photography, and Mary Ellen Mark's documentary photography and portraiture. Over the years I've been inspired by many other photographers as well as art, music and movies -Wes Anderson comes to mind, I absolutely adore his style. (view a Wes Andersen inspired photo shoot of my sister's family HERE).
